Mayam Gautam

Mayam Gautam is a Vice President in Houlihan Capital's Valuation and Financial Advisory practice. He performs valuations for public and private companies, as well as venture capital and private equity funds. 

Mayam has extensive experience in the valuation of business enterprises, debt and equity securities, intangible assets and complex securities for various financial and tax reporting purposes. His responsibilities include conducting due diligence, performing financial analyses, preparing financial models, and drafting and reviewing valuation reports. 

Mayam has worked across a broad range of clients and industries. Prior to joining Houlihan Capital, Mayam was a Manager at Citrin Cooperman’s FLVS group in Philadelphia, PA, where he focused on portfolio valuations for BDCs, private credit, private equity, fund of funds and hedge funds. He also has experience in financial reporting engagements for several FASB ASC topics, including ASC 350 (Goodwill Impairment), 718 (Stock Compensation), and 805 (Business Combinations), as well as gift and estate tax valuations. Mayam started his career as a Valuation Analyst at Murray Devine Valuation Advisors in early 2017, performing portfolio and business valuations. 

Mayam earned a Master of Science in Finance from University of Rochester in 2016. He is in process of earning his American Society of Appraisers (“ASA”) designation.
