Alex Pomerantz

Director, People Operations

Alex Pomerantz serves as the Director of People Operations at Houlihan Capital, bringing a wealth of diverse experience centered on enhancing operational efficiency while prioritizing the well-being of individuals. With a commitment to fostering positive employee relations, Mr. Pomerantz actively contributes to creating a work culture that champions productivity, creativity, innovation, and organizational growth. His approach is distinctly people-centric, aimed at elevating the quality of the workplace environment.

Before joining Houlihan Capital, Mr. Pomerantz combined his passion for music and operational acumen at City Winery Chicago, where he oversaw all operational facets of concerts, including advancing, settlement, and hospitality. More recently, he dedicated his summers to serving as the Assistant Director of Operations at a Wisconsin-based summer camp for kids. In this role, he managed operations and programming, demonstrated innovative leadership in staff development, ensured health and safety for campers and staff, handled financial planning and forecasting, and managed the financial aid process.

Mr. Pomerantz holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism Management from the University of Illinois – Champaign-Urbana and is SHRM-CP certified.
